RSVP card options
- THE TRADITIONAL WEDDING RESPONSE CARD WITH ENVELOPE
Traditionally an RSVP card has a section for guests to write their names and tick yes or no to attending your big day. It also features an RSVP date to respond by and is supplied with an envelope with a return address. This style of card can be single or double sided.
- THE RSVP POSTCARD
This style of RSVP card is setup just like a postcard. It still has a section for guests to fill out, as well as featuring a return address and spot for a stamp so it can be popped back in the post. It is polite to include the stamp for your guests. This option is more cost effective, saving you the cost of an extra envelope.
- THE MODERN RSVP CARD
It is becoming more common for RSVP cards to not be filled out and returned in the post, rather listing alternate ways wedding guests can reply. In this modern age wedding websites are becoming more popular with guests able to rsvp online, so rsvp cards are featuring a website link and login details. Alternatively, couples are just listing an email address or phone number.
- SPECIAL EMBELLISHING
Make your RSVP cards match with the rest of your wedding stationery by adding the same elements that flow with the rest of the designs. Here are some extra options you can add on to your RSVP cards to make them even more special:
- White ink
- Letterpress
- Hot stamp foil
- Die cutting
- Perforation – HOT TIP- Adding a perforated edge to a card will allow our guest to tear off and return their RSVP to you.
- THOSE EXTRA DETAILS
As weddings grow and expand, so does the list of details required to plan your big day. Here are some extra details you may wish to include on your RSVP card.
MEAL SELECTION – If you have a set menu options you can get your guests to select ahead of time their meal preferences, such as chicken fish or vegetarian.
DIETARY REQUIREMENTS - It's so important to check if your guests have any dietary requirements such as allergies, intolerances or if they are halal, vegetarian, pescatarian or vegan.
TRANSPORT OR ACCOMODATION - Depending on the style of your wedding there may be extra options of transport such as a group bus booking or limited accommodation spots at the venue so it’s important to gather these details with the RSVP.
SONG SELECTION – A cute little add on element to your RSVP is having your guests request a song to be played on the day.
